Hawra Al Hatem is a dedicated and highly skilled fundraising professional, currently working as a Senior Fundraiser at SOS-Children Villages Norway. With a strong passion for children's rights and a commitment to ensuring no child is left alone, Hawra's work has been recognized for its exceptional impact.
In March 2024, Hawra was the proud winner of the World Championship in Telephone Fundraising, an annual event organized by SOS-Children Villages. Competing against many talented fundraisers, Hawra stood out by securing 30 child sponsorships in just one day. This impressive achievement not only earned her the championship title but also saw her being named the Best Player of the series.
Before joining SOS-Children Villages Norway, Hawra has had an extensive career in the service and hospitality industries. She has worked in various roles since 2015, including as a Service Employee at Securitas Norge, an Administrator at AFRY, and a Meeting & Events Hostess at Clarion Hotel Oslo. These experiences equipped her with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic, which she has channelled into her current fundraising role.
Hawra's passion for children's rights and her relentless dedication to her work make her an invaluable asset to the organization.
